The Spartans have been once again listed in one of their top target’s top schools list — this time it’s Jaylon Braxton of Frisco, Texas.
Braxton released his top eight schools list on Tuesday, with Michigan State making the cut. The Spartans are joined by Nebraska, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Cal, TCU and Baylor.
Braxton is a four-star cornerback prospect in the 2023 class. He ranks as the No. 21 cornerback and No. 207 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the class.
The tweet announcing his top eight schools included “07/09/22” so it could mean he plans to announce his commitment in early July. Braxton is scheduled to take an official visit to Michigan State next weekend so that could help push him towards the Spartans ahead of his potential commitment.
