Michigan State Football is losing an important member of the staff to Texas. On Friday, defensive graduate assistant Cordae Hankton announced that he will be leaving MSU for a new role on Steve Sarkisian’s staff as a defensive analyst.
Hankton was instrumental in helping Mel Tucker and the Spartans expand their recruiting footprint to Louisiana, helping set a foundation there that Tucker should be able to expand on. One of Hakton’s biggest contributions came with the commitment of Louisiana 4-star wide receiver Keon Coleman at the start of the month.
Thank you @Coach_mtucker I really appreciate the opportunity you gave a high school coach from New Orleans to join your first program. It has been a pleasure learning from you. Thanks for being a mentor and servant leader. Continue to gain ground in East Lansing. Go Green!!!
