Morning mock draft: Bills address both lines in PFF’s 2-round predictions

Buffalo Bills select Dillon Radunz, Joseph Ossai in Pro Football Focus 2021 NFL Draft mock.

In Pro Football Focus’ latest two-round mock draft released this week ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft later this month, the Buffalo Bills address the dirty areas.

Buffalo, who currently hold one pick in the first and second round, select an offensive lineman and defensive lineman, respectively.

Leading the way is North Dakota State’s Dillon Radunz, followed by Texas pass rusher Joseph Ossai:

30. BUFFALO BILLS — OT DILLON RADUNZ, NORTH DAKOTA STATE

Radunz is a big riser up draft boards coming off his stellar performance at the 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl. He also earned 79.1 and 87.2 pass-blocking grades in his 2018 and 2019 seasons, respectively. The Bills already have starters at both left and right tackle in Daryl Williams and Dion Dawkins, but getting younger and cheaper at a premium position while adding depth is a good use of draft capital for a team with few holes and a soon-to-be highly paid quarterback.

61. BUFFALO BILLS — EDGE JOSEPH OSSAI, TEXAS

As referenced, Radunz is a smaller-school prospect that stood out in a big way at the Senior Bowl. Following the event, Bills Wire highlighted him as a top performer at  that might interest Buffalo.

Despite re-signing Jon Feliciano and Ike Boettger in the middle, the Bills could still stand to add a youthful talent on the inside of their offensive line. Especially since Cody Ford has underwhelmed to this point in his career. Depending on who you ask, teaming Radunz up with Ossai in the second round would be a huge win for the Bills as well.

Ossai, who had 5.5 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss in nine games last season with Texas, was previously pegged to the Bills in a NFL.com mock draft. But in that exercise, Ossai was taken by the Bills in Round 1.

Landing two potential first rounders would be a big home run for Buffalo.
