The Philadelphia 76ers take on old friends Ben Simmons and Seth Curry on Tuesday when they play host to the Brooklyn Nets, but the Sixers are going to be short-handed, which makes the Simmons return a bit anticlimactic.
With Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and James Harden out for this matchup, the Sixers will look different when they take on the Nets.
Philadelphia will start Montrezl Harrell in place of Embiid and have him next to Shake Milton, De’Anthony Melton, PJ Tucker and Tobias Harris. Harris returns from a two-game absence due to left hip soreness.

Harrell is obviously not Embiid, but he will help the team with his energy and his aggressiveness on both ends of the floor. The Sixers will need all the help they can get when they take on a high-powered Nets team led by Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Simmons.
Tipoff from the Wells Fargo Center is set for 7:30 p.m. EST.
