The Brooklyn Nets have some time to relax before training camp begins in the fall. Since the offseason still has some time left, it’s a good time to ponder any hypothetical trades just to give our brains some exercise.

Spencer Dinwiddie is one of those players on the Nets that the team needs if it’s going to make it to the playoffs and beyond next season. However, it is fair to wonder if Brooklyn still needs Dinwiddie on the team is he is not the starting point guard.

Assuming that Ben Simmons is able to stay healthy and get back his confidence that made him an All-Star during his time with the Philadelphia 76ers, Simmons would most likely start while Dinwiddie would come off the bench.
