Mock trade has Nets trading Nic Claxton for 10th overall pick

If the Brooklyn Nets decided to enter a full rebuild, this mock trade proposed by Dallas Basketball’s Dalton Trigg would be a great outcome for Brooklyn.

The Brooklyn Nets have the 2023 NBA Draft coming up soon and at this point of the offseason, anything can change for the Nets depending on if certain dominos fall. Brooklyn is most likely trying to be as competitive as possible for the next few seasons in an effort to weaken their draft picks that are controlled by the Houston Rockets.

For Brooklyn, when the word “trade” comes to mind, most people are thinking about the Nets trading for Damian Lillard in an effort to be a title contender once again. There are also smaller-scale trades for Brooklyn to possibly pull off such as exchanging some of their wings for guards and/or bigs.
