Another top prospect is opting out of the 2020 college football season, and will instead start preparations for the next level.
Minnesota wide receiver Rashod Bateman is the latest big name to opt out, announcing via social media earlier this week that he will begin preparing for the 2021 NFL draft. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic played a significant role in his original decision to opt out earlier this year, and after a brief return, it appears he’s making the same call again, and for the same reasons.
One of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2021 NFL draft class, Bateman has the talent and skill set to be a first-round pick come April.
