Minecraft 1.20: Every new feature announced so far

Minecraft 1.20 has finally been revealed, with a lot of small but highly requested features officially confirmed.

With the Wild Update long behind us, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the announcement of what’s coming in the next big Minecraft, especially with several promised features for 1.19 not making it into the final version. We were finally given a look at what’s in store for Minecraft 1.20 at the Minecraft Live event this weekend, and while there’s a bunch of cool stuff coming, it’s not quite the landmark update you might expect for a big round number like 1.20.

If you were hoping for The End dimension to get a big overhaul, then you’re going to have to wait a while longer, as 1.20 looks like it’ll focus on smaller features that fans have been requesting for a long time, but won’t revolutionize the game as Caves & Cliffs did. We’ll cover all the new features announced for the currently unnamed Minecraft 1.20 update and what they do.
