Almost from the second he stepped on the court in a Boston Celtics uniform, veteran big man Mike Muscala looked as though he had been with the team for years. Not even a full day after having been dealt to the Celtics from the Oklahoma City Thunder, Muscala stepped on the court for Boston and knocked down 4-of-8 3-point attempts to debut with 12 points.
Add some passing, rim protection and size, and it is easy to see why Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens elected to deal for Muscala over several other, higher profile targets for their frontcourt.
