Mike Evans talks ‘win or go home’ pressure of playoff games

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver knows what it takes to rise to the occasion under the pressure of a playoff atmosphere

It took six seasons for Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans to experience playoff football in the NFL, but now that he’s made it to the postseason in each of the last three years, the future Hall of Famer knows what to expect.

Despite a disappointing regular season that finished with a losing record, Evans and the Bucs still managed to win their second straight NFC South title, locking up the NFC’s No. 4 seed in the playoffs, along with a home playoff game.

Speaking to the media after Thursday’s practice, Evans discussed the playoff mentality it takes to rise to the occasion in “win or go home” situations like these:
