The Michigan State women’s soccer team has clinched a share of the 2022 regular season Big Ten Championship after defeating Ohio State 1-0 in Columbus.
The 2022 championship is the first in the program’s history.
The Spartans rise under Jeff Hosler has been monumental, going from just 4 total wins in the Big Ten in four years from 2017-2021, to a Big Ten Championship and a top 5 national ranking in 2022.
The Spartans are currently 13-1-3 and will have one final regular season game against Rutgers before the postseason begins.
