Michigan State football is looking to strike gold again with another linebacker that carries the Simmons’ name — this time a recruit from Texas.
This past year Antjuan Simmons starred at linebacker for the Spartans, and now Michigan State is trying to add Colin Simmons, a linebacker in the class of 2024, to their program. Simmons announced on Twitter on Tuesday that Michigan State has offered him a scholarship.

Simmons is listed on 247Sports at 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, and plays outside linebacker for Duncanville High School in Texas. 247Sports currently hasn’t ranked any players for the 2024 class so we don’t know where Simmons ranks compared to others in his class.
Michigan State is the second program to offer Simmons, with Marshall handing out a scholarship last week.
