Michigan State picked up a big recruit on Monday, and now sit just outside the top 25 in 247Sports recruiting team rankings for the class of 2022.
Three-star defensive back Malik Spencer chose Michigan State over Auburn, Miami, Nebraska, Michigan and other power programs on Monday, announcing his commitment to the Spartans via Twitter. Spencer was the fifth prospect to commit to Michigan State for the 2022 class, and is the highest-rated of the group, according to 247Sports.
With Spencer now part of the class, Michigan State is currently ranked No. 28 in the country by 247Sports for the 2022 class.
