Michigan State hockey is taking their No. 1 ranking on the road to Madison, Wisconsin, for a weekend series against the Badgers.
In game one, the game went any way but the way of the Spartans. Michigan State was defeated by Wisconsin, 4-0, snapping the teams 11 game winning streak.
Michigan State will look to salvage a split in Madison tomorrow against the Badgers.
