Michigan State Football WR Jayden Reed arraigned on OWI charge, pleading not guilty

Michigan State wide receiver Jayden Reed will head to pre-trial later this month for an OWI charge that took place in July.

In some legal news, Michigan State Football wide receiver Jayden Reed, who played his first season with the program in 2020 after transferring from Western Michigan University, has been arraigned for an OWI charge that took place on July 17th.

This news was reported by Spencer Soicher of WILX TV in Lansing.

Reed has pled not guilty to the charge and the pre-trial is scheduled for Feb. 24th.

Reed played in all 7 games for the Spartans last season and caught 33 passes for 407 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was also MSU’s primary kick returner, averaging 20.6 yards on 16 returns.
