Michigan State has made an addition to their 2025 recruiting class in the running back department, adding the commitment of 3-star Zion Gist yesterday. Now, the Spartans will be losing a running back in their 2025 class.
East Lansing High School running back Jace Clarizio had received crystal balls to flip to Alabama, and the flip has been completed.
Making visits to almost every home game for MSU, and dubbing himself as wanting to be the hometown hero, Clarizio is going back on his commitment promises and will not be apart of MSU’s 2025 recruiting class.
It is unlikely the Spartans will add via the high school ranks to replace Clarizio, but they will most likely dip into the transfer portal to fill the positional need.
