Michigan State has joined the battle for this lengthy defensive end from Bettendorf, Iowa. 2023 strong-side defensive end Andrew Depaepe announced that he received an offer from Michigan State Friday on Twitter.
Depaepe, who is 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds, attends Pleasant Valley High School in Riverdale, Iowa. He is currently unranked on 247sports, but expect that to change as more schools continue to offer this talented defensive end.
Depaepe has also been offered Arizona State, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, and Washington in this month alone.
In his highlight reel, he shows off his agility off the edge and ability to maneuver around the offensive line to make the tackle or sack. He also has great size as he is taller that some of offensive lineman he plays against.
Fun fact: Pleasant Valley’s nickname is the Spartans, so Depaepe can stay a Spartan if he commits to Michigan State.
