One recurring theme we have covered with Mel Tucker’s era with Michigan State Football is the need to find some of the ‘diamond in the rough’ players. With recruiting juggernauts like Ohio State and Penn State in the Big Ten, Tucker will need to find some players early in the recruiting process before the bigger schools pick them up on their radar, like they did with Kristian Phillips.

One of those under-recruited players Tucker will hope to hit on is Netinho Olivieri, a currently unranked offensive tackle who the Spartans offered on Monday evening, the same night they offered his counterpart on the offensive line at Dexter School, Sullivan Weidman.

Olivieri is 6’5″, 290 pounds and currently plays for Dexter School in Brookline, Massachusetts. He has offers out from Colorado State, Massachusetts, Army, and Coastal Carolina.
