Today marked the first day that all channels of communication were open to Michigan State Football staff members to officially reach out to potential 2022 recruits, and they were certainly very busy. Of the many players they either offered outright or officially expressed interest in, one of the most interesting is Ty Chan, who is the top recruit in the state of Massachusetts for 2022.
Chan is a 6’5″ offensive tackle out of Lawrence Academy, a boarding school in Groton, Massachusetts. 247Sports has him ranked as a 3-star offensive tackle in their internal rankings and a 4-star by their composite rankings.
After a great talk with @CoachCKap i’m honored to say that i have received an offer from Michigan State University! Thank you to all the coaches for this great opportunity! @LASpartansFB @MSU_Football @RivalsFriedman @BrianDohn247 pic.twitter.com/FwrfMvo6pQ
