The NCAA suspended all on and off-campus recruiting today due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, but not before Michigan State Football and new head coach Mel Tucker were able to get off a few more scholarship offers. We already covered the offer they sent to 3-star defensive end Hammond Russell. Two hours after that offer was revealed, Aidan Hubbard, the 3-star outside linebacker out of St. Ignatius High School, announced on Twitter that he also received an offer from the Spartans.

Hubbard is the No. 42 ranked outside linebacker according to 247sports’ composite rankings. They also have him ranked as the No. 23 ranked player in the state of Ohio which puts him 3 spots ahead of Hammond Russell.

Hubbard has offers from a number of Big Ten schools including Minnesota, Northwestern, and Purdue. Wisconsin also has an interest in the outside linebacker.
