Michigan State football received a nice update from a talented New Jersey cornerback prospect on Monday. 2022 3-star defensive back A’Khoury Lyde put the Spartans in his top-12. MSU offered Lyde back in December.
Lyde is a 5’10”, 170 pound corner out of DePaul Catholic High School in Wayne, New Jersey. Mel Tucker has placed an emphasis on recruiting in New Jersey and Lyde is yet another example of that commitment.
Lyde is the No. 662 ranked player in the country by 247Sports and their No. 67 ranked corner, by the composite rankings.
