Michigan State football is one of eight schools still in the running for an elite running back in the 2022 class.
Four-star running back TreVonte’ Citizen revealed his top eight list on Thursday, which includes Michigan State. The Spartans were joined by Auburn, Nebraska, USC, Florida, Miami (FL), LSU and Grambling State.
Citizen was previously committed to LSU but opened up his recruitment shortly after Brian Kelly was hired as the head coach. He’s from Lake Charles, La.
Citizen is ranked as the No. 9 running back and No. 113 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2022 class.
