Michigan State football currently has 16 commits in their 2025 recruiting class, two of which are wide receivers, Braylon Collier and Charles Taplin. Now, the Spartans are going on the hunt, and looking to flip a key legacy recruit in the class.
Michigan State legend Plaxico Burress’ son, Elijah, has been committed to Notre Dame since very early in the process. The Spartans are trying to change that, pursuing a flip of the Fighting Irish’s prospect, and looking to get the son of the MSU legend on campus ASAP.
247Sports reporter Brian Dohn spoke to Burress about the process and the progress Michigan State is making in his recruitment.
