Michigan State football acting head coach Harlon Barnett brings back old game day tradition

When Mel Tucker took over the reins for Michigan State football, he naturally put his own stamp on the program, tweaking some traditions here and there to mold the program in his vision. With long-time Spartan Harlon Barnett now in control of the program for the foreseeable future, he has started to bring back some old traditions.

Notably, Barnett is bringing back the full Spartan football gameday walk. Mel Tucker had shortened the walk, having it start at the Spartan Statue. Barnett is bringing it back to the original starting point at the Kellogg Center.
