Michigan State Basketball, hot off a big win over No. 2 Michigan, will head straight into Tournament play this Thursday against a team that has gotten the best of them recently.

The Spartans are now officially set to play Maryland this Thursday at 11:30 am ET on BTN. Maryland beat MSU 73-55 just one week ago, so this will be a revenge game for the Spartans.

Maryland will be playing for their postseason future, as a costly loss to Penn State on Sunday could hurt their NCAA Tournament positioning if they also lose to MSU Thursday. ESPN Bracketologist Joe Lunardi thinks the Spartans will make the NCAA Tournament no matter what happens this week.

Michigan State is a 9-seed and Maryland is an 8-seed in the Big Ten Tournament.
