A lot of college basketball preseason poll voters have egg on their face right now. Tom Izzo was a little miffed heading into the season when Michigan State basketball was unranked in both the AP and Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll, but that mistake has already been more than rectified, thanks to the strong play of the Spartans.
On Monday, the latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports was released, and MSU made another jump up the rankings to No. 12, their highest ranking of the season after starting Big Ten play 2-0 with wins over Minnesota and Penn State.
The Spartans are now 9-2 on the season.
