The No. 11 Michigan State Basketball team will face a major challenge on Christmas day when No. 9 Wisconsin comes to East Lansing. MSU’s players will get an awesome gift for the game as their families will be permitted to attend the game. The families will be tested before the game.
Not only is this the first game for the Spartans that parents are able to attend, it will also be one of the few times in the last six months that the players will be able to see their families at all. One of the many sacrifices the players are making this year is that they aren’t able to see their families much, if at all, to create a safe bubble environment.
The news was first reported by Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press. Wisconsin’s families are also welcome to attend.
Izzo confirms there will be some parents at Breslin for Christmas game and testing will be done to allow it. Says it could be “an obstacle” in some ways as it’s the first game MSU will play in front of parents (UVA game was canceled and parents would have been permitted). https://t.co/PB2LRPLn1b
