Michigan State Basketball has been locked in on the 2021 recruiting class over the past few months. The Spartans are still thinking ahead to future recruiting classes. According to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.com, Michigan State is expressing interest in 7-foot, 2022 Center Donovan Clingan.
Clingan is a top-50 prospect in his recruiting class. He hails from Bristol, CT, where he currently plays for Briston Central High School.

Interstate rival, the Michigan Wolverines, also express interest in Clingan as a potential 2022 recruit. I mean, who wouldn’t have some want to add a 7-footer to their college basketball roster.
Right now, Clingan also has offers from Boston College, Connecticut, Iowa, Providence, and Syracuse.
Michigan State has not yet officially offered Clingan. We will certainly provide an update when information is made available.
