It would be a fair criticism to say that Michigan State basketball has been lacking in the size department these last few seasons. During Michigan State’s football game against Youngstown State, it was revealed that the Spartans are taking action around that need for the future, when 2023 center Xavier Brooker announced that he has been offered by MSU.
Brooker plays for Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, and at 6’10”, he would offer the Spartans some nice size in their future.
He currently has offers from Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, LSU, Notre Dame, Purdue, Ohio State, and a few more.
After a great unofficial visit I am blessed to receive an offer from Michigan State University. Huge thanks to coach Izzo, coach Montgomery, coach stevens, and the rest of the staff for this huge opportunity!! @MSU_Basketball pic.twitter.com/C2sQVGRgb0
