In the absence of a real NCAA championship this year, this is a fun consolation prize. Michigan State brought back their old uniforms (originally made by Reebok, now Nike) from 1995-2000 this past season, and they were named the Uniswag Basketball Uniform of the Year.
There is a lot of nostalgia wrapped into these jerseys and, like many jerseys from the 90s, they have aged tremendously well as that era’s aesthetic has permeated through our modern culture. Michigan State won a national championship in these uniforms, and looked like they were poised to make another run at a title with them again, so it’s nice to see them be recognized for their greatness.

It should be noted that these jerseys came in third when we ranked the Greatest Jerseys of All-Time for the basketball program.
