Michigan slight favorite over Ohio State for Saturday’s basketball matchup

Can the Buckeyes pull off the upset? #GoBucks

Any time Ohio State plays Michigan in anything at all (queue up THE SPELLING BEE), you can bet that Buckeye Nation is tuning in. So it is Saturday when the Buckeyes travel to Ann Arbor to take on a resurgent Wolverines squad that just eviscerated No. 3 Purdue on Thursday night.

And with OSU letting a victory slip out of their hands against Rutgers on the road Wednesday to fall back further in the Big Ten standings, this game takes on even more importance. Ohio State has been fantastic at home, but the road has not been kind in the rough and tumble Big Ten.

There’s a lot at stake here for both teams, and the oddsmakers tend to side with Michigan at home in this one. In fact, according to Tipico Sportsbook, the Wolverines are a modest 2.5 favorite ver the Buckeyes. It’s always difficult to win on the road in the Big Ten, but doing so in Crisler arena can be even more of a mountain climb, especially with Michigan announcing a “Blue-out” for the game that’s set to take place on Saturday evening at 6 p.m EST.

So, get your popcorn and beverages out and hope that Ohio State can prove the odds wrong and find a way to steal one on the road against TTUN.
