Michigan makes top ten for 2021 three-star WR

The Wolverines made the cut for the 3-star wideout, but there are a lot of other top teams in pursuit.

It wasn’t that long ago that Clayton (OH) Northmont three-star wide receiver Markus Allen got his Michigan offer. As a matter of fact, it was just over a month ago on Feb. 6.

But, he certainly holds the Wolverines in high regards.

While he’s rated a three-star, Allen has been under-evaluated at this point, as he doesn’t hold an actual numeric ranking from any of the recruiting services at this time. But, clearly he’s a talent, as 21 reported offers, including from some big time programs.

Allen took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce his current top ten (though he admits, his recruitment is still open). And Michigan made the cut.

Michigan will have to contend with four other Big Ten teams, three ACC squads and one American Conference and Big 12 team, as Allen also added Wisconsin, MSU, Indiana and Purdue; Pitt, Virginia and Wake Forest; and Cincinnati and Kansas to round out his top ten.
