Michigan football hopes to make it a winning streak against arch-rival Ohio State, after having shocked many, winning 42-27 in 2021.
The Wolverines used that win to go onto Indianapolis to win the Big Ten Championship while advancing to the College Football Playoff semifinal for the first time ever. In order to have repeat success, the maize and blue will have to get a win in even more daunting circumstances — on the road in Columbus.
While it may have been a foregone conclusion, the 2022 iteration of The Game has been announced in official capacity, with the time and channel having been revealed. The matchup on Nov. 26 will take place at noon EST and will be broadcast live on Fox.

The Wolverines are expected to be quite good yet again in 2022, especially considering how many players are returning to the offense. The defense has some questions, and will be led by new defensive coordinator Jesse Minter.
Ohio State also returns some key pieces on offense, including QB C.J. Stroud, WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and RB TreVeyon Henderson, but will also need to replace some players on both sides of the ball. In order to shore up its defense, OSU hired Oklahoma State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles.
Michigan leads the all-time series, 59-51-6.
