Michigan football is undefeated entering Week 6, but now it will take the show on the road into hostile territory for the second straight week to face a Minnesota team that started strong with two wins to begin the season, before losing two-straight and winning another to enter 3-2.

The game starts at 7:30 p.m. EDT and can be seen on NBC.

Last week, the Wolverines won emphatically, scoring the first 45 points against Nebraska before the Huskers added a touchdown in garbage time. The Wolverines covered the spread handily with it being 17.5 in favor of the maize and blue.

The point spread isn’t nearly as lofty, just one point more than last week at Nebraska, but the Wolverines are still heavily favored..

  • Point spread: Michigan -18.5
  • Money line: Michigan -1400, Minnesota +800
  • Over-under: 46

Advice and prediction

Michigan is trending in the right direction and really pounced on a Huskers team that was considered to be solid, despite their record. The surprising thing was how well Michigan ran against what was expected to be a stout run defense while stopping the run. Expect more of the same against a team that’s perhaps not as specialized, but is well-coached.

Prediction: Michigan 35, Minnesota 9
