Michigan football is looking to repeat history — both in terms of winning three in a row against Ohio State and winning a national championship as it had in 1997, but also in terms of how it did it.
And given a new tradition of beating the Buckeyes was born in 2021 when the Wolverines upset OSU at home, Michigan is going, at least aesthetically, to the look it had that year.
On Friday, the official Michigan football account posted the uniform combo that the Wolverines intend to wear for the 2023 iteration of The Game, and for the second time this season as well as in the rivalry, Michigan will wear all blue vs. the Buckeyes.

Michigan beat Ohio State in 2021 wearing all blue for the first time in the rivalry, and the maize and blue have only lost one game wearing the all-blue jerseys — 2021’s College Football Playoff semifinal against Georgia.
