Michigan football dips into N.C. again to offer elite 2026 athlete

This dude is insanely talented. #GoBlue

Michigan football is really working overtime in one of the states it has had recent success in.

In the 2024 recruiting cycle, the Wolverines have pulled in two elite prospects from Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day: five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis and four-star wide receiver Channing Goodwin. The in-roads made there have launched the maize and blue into seeking more players from the Eastern Seaboard of the southern United States.

The Wolverines are looking ahead to 2025 and 2026 while still working 2024. That’s becoming increasingly evident as Michigan football made an offer on Monday to 2026 Reidsville (N.C.) athlete Kendre Harrison, who already has a number of elite offers to his name.

Coming in at 6 feet, 8 inches and 230 pounds, Harrison plays both tight end and defensive end at the high school level. Having just finished his freshman season, Harrison has 15 reported offers, including Alabama, Florida, Florida State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State and Tennessee.

Harrison is also a dual-sport athlete; he plays basketball in high school.
