Michigan climbs to No. 2 in latest College Football Playoff rankings reveal

Check out the rankings for this week’s reveal from the CFP committee.

With the regular season coming to a close, two top 10 teams failed to win their season finale.

The Ohio State Buckeyes came up short in “The Game” against the Michigan Wolverines for the third straight season. The Louisville Cardinals also came up short in their annual in-state rivalry game against Kentucky.

The big question remained of how far would they fall after Week 13’s results. The Oregon State Beavers checked in at No. 16 after their Week 12 loss to Washington. Would they fall completely out after the loss to their biggest rivals in a game that wasn’t particularly close?

In the final mid-week CFP rankings reveal ahead of Selection Sunday, the committee released where each team stands in the top 25. The race for the coveted Group of Five spot will come down to this weekend. Can Tulane fend off an undefeated Liberty team?
