The red-hot Tennessee Volunteers lost to Michigan basketball in the NCAA Tournament in 2014, and while UT will be looking for revenge, the 11-seed Wolverines will look to survive and advance against the 3-seed.
The second-round matchup is set with Michigan’s win over Colorado State and Tennessee having beaten Longwood on Thursday. The two teams are set to match up again on Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis with Ian Eagle, Jim Spanarkel, and Jamie Erdahl on the call yet again. But, unlike how both teams played relatively early on Thursday, while Saturday’s matchup won’t be exactly prime time, it will be premium viewing.
The second-round matchup between the Big Ten and SEC will tip off at 5:15 p.m. EDT and will again be broadcast on CBS.
