Purdue is led by G Jaden Ivey, who averages 17.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals per game. C Zach Edey, a 7-4 sophomore who averages 15.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game, is also a high-impact player.
Purdue will count on Edey to take on 7-1 C Hunter Dickinson, who leads Michigan in scoring (17.5 PPG) and rebounds (8.2 RPG). The Juwan Howard-coached Wolverines have been a disappointment this season, covering just 7 times in their 19 games.

Crazy things happen in Big Ten basketball, and I wouldn’t lay -475 on a favorite in a conference battle. It’s just not worth the risk.
Against the spread
BET PURDUE -8.5 (-122).
Purdue’s only time not covering in its last 4 outings was against Ohio State in an 81-78 victory Jan. 30. The Boilermakers were 11-point favorites against the 16th-ranked Buckeyes in a game they let slip away after leading by double digits most of the second half. Now, against a pitiful Wolverines team, the Boilers are only giving 8.5 points.
With Edey, Purdue should be able to neutralize Dickinson for a good chunk of the game.
Similarly, Ivey has been an all-out star this season and should be in store for a solid game against Michigan’s defense, one allowing 68.2 PPG, the 160th-most in the nation.
Michigan has covered just twice in its last 8. Lastly, Michigan is 2-5 ATS on the road this season.
