Michael Strahan pokes fun at Tom Brady on his birthday, Brady claps back

Retired New York Giants legend Michael Strahan poked a little fun at Tom Brady on his birthday, but Brady was quick to clap back.

Somewhat lost in the craziness that is the COVID-19 pandemic, future Hall of Famer Tom Brady left the New England Patriots at the beginning of March.

Because the nation had all of its focus on the pandemic, the move of the six-time Super Bowl Champion did not get the attention it would have in a regular offseason.

Monday was Brady’s 43rd birthday and he got an unpleasant birthday shout-out from Super Bowl XLII champion and Hall of Famer, Michael Strahan.

Strahan posted a picture of himself following a sack of Brady from the Super Bowl when the New York Giants defeated the then-undefeated Patriots.

Strahan, of course, retired on top following the Super Bowl victory in his final year. He has gone on to a successful post-playing career, including stints on a number of different TV shows, including his time on “Live” as well as his current spots on “Good Morning America” and Fox NFL Sunday.

That’s something Brady was quick to remind Strahan about when he clapped back at his good pal.

Although Strahan retired at age 36 (much younger than Brady is now), it should be noted that Strahan is a full five-plus years older than on Brady.

Still, you have to credit Tom for his wit.

Brady is a solid follow on social media and even takes friendly shots at the Giants when he gets a chance, like he did when Eli Manning retired or when Manning joined twitter earlier this year.

Whenever Brady does decide to hang up the cleats, there will be many memories of his many Super Bowl victories. However, because of the Giants, Brady has two fewer Super Bowl rings, including the spoiled undefeated season that certainly still haunts him.
