For the second time in this young career, De’Von Achane will have to miss some time to nurse an injury. It’s being reposted the rookie running back suffered a knee injury during the 31-16 victory over the New York Giants.
While it’s not expected to be a season-ending injury, there is a chance he can be sidelined for a few weeks, making him a candidate for IR allowing him to return later this year. However, Per Adam Schefter, Achane will seek a second opinion before making that decision.

This is a less-than-ideal situation for the Dolphins as Achane was really starting to hit his stride as an NFL running back, putting up video game numbers with limited touches even though he ranks 34th in the NFL with rushing attempts, he is second in the NFL in rushing yards with 460 only trailing behind 49ers elite do it all back Christian McCaffery.
We wish Achane a speedy recovery, and we will keep you up today with any updated news on his injury.
