Miami Dolphins inactives for Week 14 vs. the Jets

The Miami Dolphins are a little less than an hour from kickoff, and we now know which Dolphins on the 53-man roster will not be suiting up for today’s game. The Dolphins shared the inactives list just moments ago.

The inactive list features numerous fresh faces for the Dolphins. CB Linden Stephens, OL Evan Brown, WR Trevor Davis and DL Zach Sieler were all added to the Dolphins’ 53-man roster just this past week.

The biggest surprise of the day is the status of DE Taco Charlton, who will not dress against the Jets despite having no known injury issues ahead of today’s contest. Charlton is the Dolphins’ sack leader on the season, having logged 5.0 sacks on the season despite having played in just 9 games on the team.

The move figures to translate to a bigger share of reps for OLBs Vince Biegel and Andrew Van Ginkel, two former Wisconsin Badgers. Van Ginkel spent most of the year on the injured reserve list after an early season injury — the Dolphins may simply hope to get more evaluation reps for Van Ginkel throughout the final few games of the 2019 season.

Today’s game kicks off at 1PM EST from MetLife Stadium. The Dolphins are currently 5.5 point underdogs.
