USA TODAY Sports released the latest US LBM Coaches Poll on Sunday, and three teams from the ACC finished within the top 25.
For the second week in a row, the Miami Hurricanes finished as the conference’s highest-ranked team. One week after they demolished the Florida Gators 41-17 on the road, the Hurricanes took down Florida A&M 56-9. Mario Cristobal’s team moved up three spots to 12th in the latest rankings.
After NC State suffered a blowout 51-10 loss at the hands of the Tennessee Volunteers and Georgia Tech lost to Syracuse, only two other ACC teams made the rankings this week. The Clemson Tigers bounced back from a Week 1 loss to sit in 20th, and Louisville sat one spot behind them at 21st.
The Georgia Bulldogs remained in the top spot after yet another dominant victory, this time over Tennessee Tech. Ohio State and the Texas Longhorns also received first-place votes, and the Alabama Crimson Tide and Ole Miss finished out the top five.
