Coach Penny Hardaway has been building up this roster over the past season and it will look to continue its ascension back to the National Championship level it attained under John Calipari. A win here against a solid Big East team in Seton Hall would do wonders for the program in its reboot.
After Seton Hall lost its 1st game of the season 83-67 to Iowa on Nov. 16 as a 1.5-point favorite, the Pirates came back with a 38-point victory over Wagner (82-44) as 18.5-point favorites. Leading scorer Al-Amir Dawes had 19 points and 4 rebounds for the Pirates.

Moneyline
BET MEMPHIS -130.
With the ML being so short at only -130, I would rather risk the extra .15 for the security in this close game.
While the Tigers could easily win this by 2, I could also see a scenario in which the Pirates play to the end and lose by 1. With the number being where it is, I will take Memphis on the ML and not risk the spread as my favorite play.
Against the spread
PASS.
This game will be extremely close. The 1.5-point line insinuates this, and I believe it. It may only be an extra 1.5 points, but I would rather take Memphis to win rather then to make them cover the number.
Over/Under
BET OVER 138.5 (-110).
While both teams have been up and down in the scoring department in 2022, this game should have some points. While I do not see either team getting to 80, I can see both getting to 70 in this matchup. If this happens, the Over 138.5 will hit. And I like it.
