Memorial Stadium sellout streak in jeopardy

What kind of crowd will show up on Saturday night?!

On Saturday evening, the Nebraska Cornhuskers will welcome the Indiana Hoosiers to Memorial Stadium for a Big Ten matchup. One of the storylines of this weekend’s game will focus more on the crowd in the stands than the players on the field. Nebraska’s decades-long home sellout streak may be in jeopardy. According to athletic Director Trev Alberts, the streak, which dates back to 1962 and currently sits at 385 straight games, may finally end this season. During a recent press availability with the media, Alberts stated that the sellout streak would be monitored on a week-to-week basis for the four final remaining home games of the 2022 season. This year’s final four opponents are Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Reports have stated that approximately 1000 tickets remain for this weekend’s contest with the Hoosiers.
Now seemed as good as any time to look at the ten biggest crowds in Memorial Stadium history. So take a look below and let us know what you think!
