The official media predictions for the 2023 SEC football season were announced on Friday.
Georgia was the unsurprising pick to come out of the East, while Alabama was a semi-surprising pick to come out of the West over LSU, which won the division last year in coach Brian Kelly’s first season.
In addition to breaking down the divisions, the media also voted on the overall champion for the conference this season. Despite all of its losses this past offseason, two-time national champion Georgia is once again the favorite to come out of the SEC.
