Media makes spring conclusions for Scott Frost and Huskers

The national media is coming to a conclusion that most Husker fans have known for awhile

Spring practices have finally come to a close and as we get closer to the start of the 2022 season, it’s becoming apparent that the national media has come to the same conclusion as many Nebraska fans. This is a make-or-break year for head coach Scott Frost. We’ve documented many times how he has yet to reach a bowl game and how he’s finished either last or second to last in the Big Ten West each year he’s been in Lincoln. It’s now or never for the former quarterback now turned coach.

In a recent article highlighting the most intriguing spring practice storylines, 247sports.com stated that Scott Frost’s make or break season is one of the year’s stories of interest. They wrote, “many have to believe that 2022 is it for Frost if he can’t lead the ones proud football power back to the postseason “ It’s hard to disagree with that assessment. Most Husker fans came to that same conclusion when Athletic Director Trev Alberts announced that Frost would return for 2022.

It’s just another reminder of how critical the upcoming season is not just for Scott Frost but for Nebraska fans to regain confidence in a program that has been on shaky ground for a while now.
