Michigan State basketball lost a huge part of their rotation when Max Christie decided to bet on himself and enter his name into the 2022 NBA draft, to the surprise of MSU fans and NBA draft analysts alike.
According to Sam Vecenie of The Athletic, that decision should result in a draft selection for Christie. Vecenie has Christie projected to be drafted by the Indiana Pacers with the first pick of the second round (No. 31 overall).
I think this would be a good fit for Christie, as he’ll need to join a team that is willing to let him grow and develop into the player everyone knows he’s capable of becoming.
