No. 25 Texas got a much-needed victory over Cincinnati on Tuesday.
Three Longhorns scored over 10 points against the Bearcats, but it was the Dylan Disu show at Fifth Third Arena.
Disu dropped a career-high 33 points along with six rebounds, four steals, two blocks, and an assist. The senior also shot 75% from the free throw line, 56.5% from the field, and 40% beyond the arc.
Max Abmas nailed a game-winning shot to put the Longhorns ahead with just six seconds left, leaving no doubt that Texas was taking home the victory.
Abmas recorded 13 points, five assists, and three rebounds. Even though he shot a shaky 38.5% field goal rate, he drained the one that mattered.
The Texas Longhorns now sit at 12-3 and will travel to West Virginia on Saturday to take on an underwhelming Mountaineer team.
