Matisse Thybulle upgraded to questionable for Sixers vs. Trail Blazers

Philadelphia 76ers guard Matisse Thybulle has been upgraded to questionable against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been dealing with a lot over the past couple of weeks as they move forward with their 2021-22 season. They have been missing Joel Embiid and a variety of other Sixers due to the health and safety protocols as COVID-19 has hit the team hard recently.

However, they have had Tobias Harris and Isaiah Joe return and now, they could have one of their defensive studs return on Saturday when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers on the road.

Matisse Thybulle, who has missed seven games in a row since he entered the protocols back on Nov. 5, has been upgraded to questionable against the Blazers. The Sixers will be in need of his elite defensive play against guys like Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum so this would be a big return for them.

Embiid is still in the health and safety protocols so he remains out and Danny Green is out due to left hamstring tightness,

A return of Thybulle would be a big help to get the Sixers going in the right direction again. The matchup with the Blazers is the fourth game of their 6-game road trip and they are 1-2 to start the trip.
